Yanacocha recognizes that roads constitute a significant part of development, since they get communities closer and provide more opportunities for communication and trade. That is why we permanently support programs engaged in the construction and improvement of roads within our environment of action.
Until 2006, more than 140 kilometers of roads have been constructed and more than 100 kilometers of rural roads have been improved and maintained.
